We are Sunrise Paddleboards, and we specialize in Fort Lauderdale outdoor activities that are fun, easy, and healthy. For over a decade, we have provided tours, rentals, lessons, and sales of all types of equipment for water sports in Fort Lauderdale.

When you are looking for kayak and stand-up paddle (SUP) board rentals, we've got you covered. We offer top-of-the-line paddle boards, single kayaks, and double kayaks. Take a SUP or kayak out on the water to explore on your own, or book one of our guided tours led by an entertaining local guide. We also offer lessons with a professional instructor.

Our adventures on land include the Hurley Electric Bike Tour of Fort Lauderdale. This guided tour is a great way to tour the Fort Lauderdale Beach area Historical Downtown, Flagler Arts & Technology Village (FATVillage), Riverwalk, and over a dozen parks and recreational areas with a local guide and enjoy the fun of riding an electric bike. BRIAN GALTON

Independent Contractor performs as CEO & Founder of Sunrise Paddleboards, LLC.

"Sweet B" is a Florida native born in Lake City, Clermont. Loving the tropical lifestyle, he continues to dedicate his passion to spreading the love of watersports, and marine life by creating various Tours, Charities, and events to bring the community together! Brian is always looking for new ways to bring people together and see the bigger picture of life: "Paddle more Stress Less"!

He can be found at the shop or in the water, nearly every day of the year; with the same passion and enthusiasm as when he first started this movement in 2010.

Each and every Activity has been created by Brian who is most proud of our infamous Full Moon Paddles and our Clean Water Clean Life efforts to clean our waterways.

Starting with just Rentals and Tours, Sunrise Paddleboards has become the #1 seller of boards for the largest manufacturer in the world and has created its own brand of paddle boards and accessories as can be seen at SUPSmart.com

Brian was a Business Major at VCU and worked over 20 years in the Automotive Industry before resigning as General Sales Manager for 3 franchises. He prides himself on providing 100% Customer Satisfaction, Values, and Quality.

JAMIN WIDENER

Independent Contractor performs as General Manager

Instructor Board Repair Expert

Jamin is originally from the Tacoma/Seattle area of Washington. He has been around boats and water his whole life but decided to make a commitment and joined the team to bring his passion for fitness to the tropics of South Florida.

When not at the shop repairing boards and running the show, he can be found at a local venue watching sporting events, cruising around in his JEEP, or drinking with friends and spreading smiles. He truly brings out the best in all of us!

Silvie "Ocean" Gausman

Independent Contractor performs as Paddle Board Yoga Instructor

Silvie is from Ostrava, Czech Republic, and is a beautiful mind and soul. Certified as a yoga teacher since 2005, SUP Yoga in 2016, Reiki Healer, and CPR provider. Love to study the human body and its ability to heal itself through Breath, Movement, and attachment to nature. SUP yoga is a perfect example of all healing elements combined together. In our class clients experience Breath practice, Movement synchronized with Breath, and final Meditation on the water in Nature. Healing Fun!

Kent Hash

Independent Contractor performs as Snorkel / Paddle Board / Kayak Instructor

Kent grew up on the water with over 40 years of experience kayaking and boarding.

CPR Trained and Certified

Kent loves Paddleboarding and Kayaking as can be seen by his constant desire to be on the water entertaining Tourist and locals alike. Meet Kent every Thursday at 9 AM as he leads Sunrise Paddle Boards' "Clean Water Clean Life" Paddle cleaning up the Fort Lauderdale waterways. His passion is also evident as he performs on Jet Ski Tours, Full Moon Paddles, ECO Tours, and most popularly our Snorkel and Paddle the Reef Guide. Kent has a constant smile that is addictive and we invite you to come to explore with him.

Alicia Hammell

Independent Contractor performs as Tour Guide and Instructor

Living my life and enjoying what Florida has to offer has always been the highlight of my weekends growing up. Whether I’m out snorkeling on a board in the keys or giving tours to locals and newbies at Sunrise Paddleboards I’m always soaking up the sun and beautiful environment. Working at sunrise Paddleboards has definitely allowed me to work in outdoor luxury with a view while meeting amazing people from all over. Being a new mom to a beautiful baby boy I feel excited knowing that I get to share my love for Paddleboarding with him along with my Sunrise Paddleboard family.

Brynlee Kelmanson

A Passion for Paddleboard Yoga finding balance and connection – both on the yoga mat and on the water and leading her to a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Understanding how food fuels our bodies became another tool to empower others to feel their best.

When I discovered stand-up paddleboard (SUP) yoga and the challenge of balancing on the water while flowing through postures ignited a new passion. Over 9 years of teaching yoga in diverse settings like studios and country clubs solidified my love for connecting with nature through movement.

Why SUP Yoga?

Brynlee has a love for the gentle waves lapping at the board, the sun warming your face, and the rhythm of your breath blending with the sounds of nature. SUP yoga adds a whole new dimension to my practice by strengthening the core and laser focus that deepens the connection to the present moment.

It's more than just exercise; it's an adventure for my body and soul. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a curious beginner, SUP yoga offers a delightful way to experience the beauty of nature while invigorating your practice and I would love to share it with you.

COMMUNITY & ENVIRONMENT

EVERY WAY POSSIBLE TO GIVE BACK!

Beach lovers, kids and families, and those who enjoy volunteering for a good cause are invited to participate in the monthly Fort Lauderdale Beach Sweep cleanup event to collect litter from beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach.

The Beach Sweep takes place on the second Saturday of every month. Just a small amount of time can make a huge environmental difference.
