Paddleboard fitness takes traditional workout exercises and adapts them to the water, adding an extra layer of challenge by engaging your balance. Here’s what you can expect:
Cardio: Paddling through the water gets your heart rate up while building endurance.
Strength Training: Incorporate bodyweight exercises such as squats, push-ups, and lunges—all while maintaining your balance on the board.
Core Stability: Every move you make on the paddleboard engages your core, helping to strengthen your midsection and improve stability.
Balance and Flexibility: Moving through different exercises on a paddleboard requires focus and balance, enhancing both your physical and mental fitness.
Our paddleboard yoga sessions are designed to be both fun and accessible, with expert instructors to guide you through each pose:
Duration: 60 minutes of on-the-water fitness.
Location: Paddle through the scenic waterways of Fort Lauderdale while working out.
What’s Included: Paddleboard, paddle, and life jacket provided.
What to Bring: Athletic wear that can get wet, sunscreen, and water.
Equipment Rental: A high-quality, lightweight paddleboard or kayak designed for stability and performance.

Food & Drinks: Meals and beverages are not provided. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks for the journey.
Transportation: Guests are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the Middle River Showroom.
No experience is necessary! Our boards are designed for stability, making them easy for beginners to use. Our team will provide tips to help you get started. (We suggest a Quick Lesson, Private Lesson, or ECO Paddle and Lesson for First Timers, but NOT Required)
We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a towel. You may also want to bring water and snacks to enjoy during your paddle.
We continue with lessons in light rain, but if there is lightning or severe weather, we will reschedule your lesson for another day. Your safety is our top priority!
Yes, we offer free parking at our meeting points, including our Sunrise Paddleboards Showroom.
Arrive Early: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your rental time for setup and brief instructions.
Wear Comfortable Clothing: Dress in lightweight, water-friendly clothing, and bring sandals or water shoes for easy movement.
Physical Requirements: Paddleboarding is a low-impact activity, but participants should be comfortable standing and paddling on the board.
Stay Hydrated & Protected from the Sun: Bring sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle to stay comfortable during your paddle.
